Rome - les Forums Impériaux

Le Marché de Trajan

Ce fut Apollodore de Damas qui créa dans le flanc du Quirinal qui descend vers les Forums Impériaux une série d'édifices disposés en étagements derrière le portique droit du Forum de Trajan. Composés de 150 boutiques environ, le marchés de Trajan n'étaient pas un simple lieu de vente au détail (comme les forums Boarium et Olitarium) mais un centre de redistribution des produits.
